Novus Veritas – Revision I
The objective of this text is to create a dynamic framework of ‘how’ the universe works and how to live in that structure to have a fulfilling and joyful life through balance. These words are not static, they are never meant to be as nothing truly ever can be static. This collection of words is meant to be a guide-post, not a destination.
This also aims to a frank representation of the universe and life and the mechanism by how they ‘work’ – No New Age hoop lah, Religious caveats, someone saying “Pay me fox X”, or fancy new terminologies to learn (Their might be a few, but try to limit them to verified and scientific concepts)
This text is meant to always be expressed in its whole, freely given.
Reviews will be archived and revisions kept on record. a Resource page will be part of a growing web presence as cites for experiments and ideas that have led to this text.
While the aim of the text is meant to be understood by everyone some concepts and ideas may be foreign – if you struggle, would like clarification, or just want to share an epiphany then Twitter for the short and sweet and The forums for the long and brutal.
As I ‘grew up’ and the veils began to fall away, the world began to illuminate shining brightly in parts I was taught against and dully on institutions and ideals that I was told to revere. From a young age I had an fervent curiosity for ‘how’ everything worked. I would dismantle cleverly and destructively if necessary and then try to put the pieces in context and back to working order. The curiosity never subsided and upon reaching our modern adult world it met a good friend, Jade. The collective lies, deceit, and preying on people introduced a jaded perspective to my life.
Finally I sold myself on the idea that I couldn’t get a straight answer from anyone and I needed to find one myself so I embarked on a journey through continents and oceans for 5 years learning culture, studying nature, observing, and most importantly constantly re-evaluating new and old information into a system. A way to live that didn’t use people, power, or lies to control, I sought freedom. I found freedom of choice.
What is presented here has been a dedication of my life – I’ve spent hours daily pouring over studies and research (and continually do), doing experiments, and ultimately arriving at the simplistic beauty of the universe and at least some of the ways all things are connected. No Gods, No Rituals, No Governments, No Leaders, No Payments needed – Just you.
The 4 Principles
The universe, and by extension, life, operate on principles, these are not rules or laws because they are probabilistic in nature and given the right circumstances could have two strikingly different outcomes which exemplifies the first principle:
Everything is dynamic, Nothing is static.
Rather its the length of a life or a monument erected to withstand the ages or the perception of ‘solidness’ we have when we see and experience boundaries. All things are in a constant state of re-balance. They are dynamic, always changing.
Everything is Connected.
This extends beyond what we, as humans, deem ‘life’ to every square planck in the universe and its constituent parts. The nature of this connection boils down to ‘Information’
Everything is Cyclical.
All aspects of nature move in cycles, cycles so short that we can never see them to cycles so long we’ll ever barely see the beginning of them.
Everything is Fractal.

Using these principles, deductive reasoning, and observation of our environment it is possible to derive the natural sciences as well as account for historical accounts and religious experiences throughout time.
This is all held together by 1 glue – Information. Information is what lends form to the universe, its what gives rise to galaxies and planets and even consciousness. What is information? As humans we define information through our senses – “I see” “I feel”, etc. These observations we use in multiple ways. The most apparent to ‘us’ is memory, but that information is in a constant process being recycled against all the previous ‘known’ information to change longer running cycle’s in the Human Information System.
These longer running cycles in order of length are Behavior (chemical reactions), Genetic Expression, and ‘Evolution’ – Each level of cycle takes significantly more information for a ‘choice’ to be made. There is not physical ‘choice’ however it is simply a matter of balancing an equation. If there is enough information pushing for one outcome then changes begin. Information never ceases generating and remembering our principles we know that this process is constant and dynamic – it flows – We are constantly seeking to balance that information with the sum of our experiences.
We see this example time and time again throughout the psychology and other sciences. In order to change a behavior, first you must acknowledge the behavior.
This is us saying “Ok Brain, we’re going to have a peer evaluation of this process”
Second is you must speak of the behavior, how it made you feel, how it made others feel.
This is the beginning of a re-balance in ‘thought’ process, you are now saying “Hey Brain I want you to account for all of these factors”
Usually the resolve and perspective of empathy from viewing in ‘someone elses shoes’ provides enough information for the process to begin to change, the routine of that behavior to begin to shift
Now through multiple sessions of this sharing people become ‘well’ or ‘cured’ – by some miracle of a brilliant psychologist? Hardly, although without them its possible a change would have never occurred. It is our brains recognizing through the influx of information that we needed to change a routine that is under-performing (or we don’t ‘like’).
Imagine this as a giant scale – whenever the scale finds in-balance a signal goes off, and a guidepost is planted to keep us on course and eliminate the need to process as much information to get back there. The next time we venture down the path (it could be having an emotion, an entire experience, or just a sensory feeling) we’ll follow our guideposts on how to ‘deal’ with this information because our brains are always looking for the most efficient way to complete tasks.
Each time we repeat a cycle in the situation above then another signal goes off and another guidepost is planted – this one however is weighing the sum of the constant information guideposts above against all known information and creating behavior patters, thought patterns, speech patterns, muscle memory, etc. So when now you are presented with similar tasks or emotional states you react in a defined way, your body produces a defines series of chemical reactions to induce similar feelings and thoughts about those tasks, which further re-enforce those feelings and thoughts through the cycle of information.
Now every-time that re-enforcement happens at a level beyond behavioral/responsive a guidepost is planted on the genetic level to create a genetic map of how proteins and enzymes should fold and where they should be produced in your body in order to continue to get the chemical results happening above while improving the process with all other sensory, environmental, and internal information weighed against present happenings and your enviornment… this process is slower and requires significantly more information to ‘plant a guidepost’
Then we have DNA, they final guidepost planter – more of the foreman – DNA responds to all the information presented and governs all the progress in the body and is then the first guidepost in a new baby and the cycle begins again.
So how does the Human Information System ‘interact’ with the world around us?
We can see through observation, experimentation, and historical account that human ‘will’ has a measured effect on the environment. Intent, Prayer, Spells – the name throughout history all work via this information system.
Whenever we have a thought or a feeling or we just move around our body produces electric signals, an electric current – this current creates a field, this field interacts with everything that it comes in contact with and they balance out – similar to bringing two magnets close to one another, you can feel the magnetic fields interacting with one another.
Information also creates its own field, which interacts, albeit weakly, with all the other information. Why so weak? Because information moves superluminaly – or faster then the speed of light. This has many implications, one being that due to the velocity of information the probability of interaction is low for any specific event. ‘Reality’ happens when there is enough information in a given moment that the noise causes a destabilization much the same wave the wave form destabilizes to a particle. In the way that larger information systems govern us as human so is true for nature and this is where intent, focus, and prayer come into the picture.
More focus = more energy = more information. The extra information due to the focused nature of events creates a higher localized probability that events in an individuals perspective will correlate to that specific focus.
This is one of those interesting effects of information being faster then light. Our perspective on reality is moderated by the speed of light – Einstein showed us this, so our perspective of the present is locked to the speed of light – Much the same way the wave form collapses under observation so that we observe particles, information coalesces as the light ‘catches up to it’ – and when it does the weight of all the information present for that moment is measured and ‘reality’ is created this moment is Zero Point Energy
The other side of this cycle is information flowing from ‘reality’ forward. The cycle is what gives rise to phenomenon like Deja Vu, premonition, telekinesis as measured through projects like The Global Consciousness Project at Princeton and various studies about how our ‘reality’ is on a delay
The ‘flow’ is a vortice, which explains the counter flow and thus the cycle of information. Why? Because it is the heart of all motion we can detect and experience from magnetism to Earths weather patterns and ocean currents to solar and galactic movements.
What does it mean? It means that ‘we’ have ultimate control of our lives and posses all of the tools to harness that control and live great lives. This isn’t about so shadow lurking entity or any divine, or even souls – this is about what it means to be human and the potential that lies in those words. We are a ‘machine’ the association has been made for a long time. These are the tools on how to program the machine.
This means freedom in your life despite your circumstance and then a structure to change any circumstance
Eastern culture has known what western observation has recently seen and that is the very physical effects that meditation has on the body. Why? We know now..
More Focus, More Energy, More information – Information moves our internal guideposts, repeat.
You can move your focus to any part of your body and will feel energetic sensations, this is Chi, or Orgone Energy, or tantric energy. There have been many names, but what is happening is that you have now taken a bit of control in your information system, here you can place the guideposts.
The extra focus produces vast more information because there is more energy.
Tibetan monks use a form of this practice to heat themselves in icy mountain caves while soaked in cold rags to the point they are steaming.
Focusing on events and seeing your behavior from an outside perspective can be very illuminating when in this state, to do so you’ll read novels about the 3rd eye, but for practicality bring your focus to your head just above your eyebrows.
With practice you will feel your ‘sight’ ‘switch’ to your 3rd eye. Basically you are peaking in on the information process described above as information moves forward, there is a feeling of detachment associated with this because all things are fractal you are experiencing a similar shift in states the initial breathing brought on for the mind/body split. This split is the Consciousness/reality split. The point where information isn’t bound to the constrains of light. The first effect of the transition is a brilliant white light.
When information zips by light its moving so fast that light seems to stand still, much the same thing that happens when we view a ‘solid’ object. Light being comprised of all spectrum’s appears a brilliant ‘white’.
Consciousness is information.
Nearly all Near Death Experiences share some common themes with deep meditative and psychoactive states, a brilliant light, the ability to talk to people living or dead or even from the future, It would seem to defy logic, until we throw in some information.
As you hitch a ride becoming information and pass through the field where light can’t penetrate where you see the brilliant light we are now beyond the governance of ‘time’. As everything we could conceive as time is tied to the speed of light all of a sudden every single bit of information that ever will be ‘exists’ It can be interacted with and will appear as real as life because it carries every parameter to potentially BE reality.
The velocity of information is also the driving mechanism by which we observe quantum entanglement and other interesting quantum phenomenon.
Meditation is the only tool we need to affect a change in our own information systems – here are 4 meditations to help you begin a path of balance, use them at your leisure, even in small doses the awareness you will gain of your body and environment will pay off.
This can be performed with your eyes open or closed and even in an uncomfortable position (although not recommended). Running water tends to help this process along, but it not necessary. This should be a daily practice if all you can spare is 15-20 minutes during a shower then it was good time spent!
Take a deep breath in through your nostrils and down into your diaphragm, filling it up – focus on the breathe in, hold for 1 second, release – focus on the breathe leaving your body… This practice helps to quiet the mind.
Do this until you can hear your own heartbeat and feel it move in your chest – At this point the mind/body separation fades – you are essentially becoming aware of your internal self, your mind, instead of being in alert mode, constantly processing sensory information has turned off the warning lights and shut down a lot of those external sensors because your focus has turned. Your mind, always seeking to please, turns down the systems – like calling a meeting.
This meditation leads to all the other meditations, you must train yourself in this process – the best way to do that is focus on the physical sensations – your heartbeat, the sound of your blood flowing, or the zip of electricity in your nerves. This process will become easier and easier with more practice.
Meditation II – The Physical
In a meditative state bring your focus to different points in your body, this flow of energy that you feel is Chi/Qi, life force, it has gone by many names. This flow of energy actually carries an electrical charge and dissipates heat, it also creates a magnetic field – oddly this heat does not seem detrimental to the human body as people have been recorded via thermal imaging ‘heating’ up to over 200 degree’s F.
The ‘power’ behind this energy exists in information. People who train with this energy are capable of astonishing feats because they have trained their bodies, programmed routine’s, re-enforced countless times over years. The guideposts they have created allow them focus that utilizes the body and mind in a greater capacity to a dedicated goal.
The same is true for any western ‘sport’ – the repetitive training enables stronger, faster, and more capable athletes – watching the progression of professional sports it is easy to see intensity level of games has increased even as the restrictions have got tighter.
Working with this energy directly allows for even more precise training, when doing physical tasks attempt to focus your attention ‘beyond’ the next movements – let your mind and body do that and focus on observing what you are doing. This detachment allows for your mind/body to communicate without the conscious middleman – your breathing rhythms, body movements, and reactions become fluid like they are marching in time (and they are to your circadian rhythm). This is also called “In The Zone”
You can focus on this physical energy while doing nothing as well, a useful practice in calming down the body systems and relaxing. Here physical healing is rumored to be possible – to date I have personal limited exposure to this and list it simply for posterity and as an avenue that others may search.
It is also possible to extend this physical energy beyond ones body – the easiest way to begin to practice this is to feel the flow of energy come to your hands – feel it extending beyond and then begin moving your hands back and forth to and apart from one another – with practice you will feel almost a weak magnetic push and pull with this process, more practice and that ‘force’ becomes stronger.
Meditation III – Well Being
Rather we like to admit it or not we are emotional creatures and those emotions have tremendous influence in how we perceive life, we’ve discussed the ‘how’ via information, and this meditation is designed to help us view the world from ‘someone else’s shoes’. This meditation bridges the gap between body/consciousness allowing the same type of focus as our physical meditations but on a purely conscious level that isn’t tied to a physical ‘reality’ as this state truly exists outside our realm of time. The power of this meditation extends far beyond what we will discuss here as such if you have emotional distress at uncovered memories – please seek the opinion of a professional and one who is not overly fond of drugging you. You may also seek help on the forums, but much is left unsaid with words.
In a meditative state start at your toes, imagine a blanket of light passing through them and up your legs, as this light passes over every muscle should feel completely relaxed. Move the light up through your entire body – it should almost feel like a pressure of energy building up as you move up through your body and into your head… Continue to focus and push the energy to a single space on your head above the eyebrows.
Now see yourself, attempt to look at you sitting or laying, work to envision your environment – with practice this picture will become more clear.
You have effectively tapped into your consciousness now.
Here you have access to all your memories, recall events and you can re-experience the emotions and feelings, be yourself, be others, a fly on the wall. You could get lost here forever. Aptly named ‘The Abyss’ by various disciplines.
In order to ‘re-program’ our thoughts, emotions, and by extension, actions we must ‘see’ these memories, see WHY you reacted the way you did. Then you decide if you ‘like’ that – this is almost a reflex and is probably the closest you will ever come to ‘feeling’ a guidepost being planted.
Study yourself, the most important question to keep asking is ‘Why?’, Why would I do that, why would they say that? Why did this or didn’t this happen when…? Explore yourself and your actions. Through that exploration you will create guideposts for future encounters. We can look around and see that relationships are the single most important factor in our lives – once you solidify the relationship with yourself the rest will be easy, until then each relationship will encounter hardship as some level.
Meditation IV – Walking mediation
This is akin to standing in a bubble on a flowing river and controlling the wind to take you whenever you like. This practice will allow you to pivot when you need to and jump when you should but no one else will. It is the merging of our meditative states with our reality, no small task and one that is always a process.
The fourth meditation is The Way of Balance.
The Way of Balance
Nature loves to mimic, its reflected in the fractal nature of everything. Consequently the more we mimic nature the ‘easier’ our lives become – the ultimate goal of nature is balance, a constant process that shapes everything we can perceive this balance is present at all levels and by seeking a similar balance in all aspects of our lives we gain the most precious gift possible – The freedom of choice.
The ability to not only see and dictate how and when we have emotions and thoughts, but the ability to see the effect of those choices before we even make them. The affect this has on an individuals life is nothing short of profound, but its not a process that never ceases. Our exercises help us maintain the perspective of balance, but it is never something truly ‘achieved’ as that would imply it is static. It is only something ever pursued.
Part of balancing is regulating the information that you take in – spending 2-4 hours a day reading material about science, medicine, health, exercise, to any event or even historical events creates perspective. Delve deep into subjects and study what is possible through other peoples observations. It sounds like a commitment, but the reward adds up as the more information the more we observe and the more our bodies react in positive ways as we learn. Then as we begin to control the cycles of our life instead of being controlled by them the path to balance is found.
Life will be walking that path, but its one that allows you to always measure the sum of your experiences in a way that gives you freedom of choice.
That is it. Fairly simple, but with increasingly complexity the deeper you look. A fractal representation of the universe we see around us. These ideas expressed here are meant to create a structure based on broad observations contrasted against fine detail, a structure that doesn’t require anything from you except participation which you already are doing anyway, this is neither complete, nor is it ever meant to be. This is a structure – something to build on. You are the builder, what life you breathe into this structure will be entirely based on you.
The Resource section is at this stage a convoluted series of bookmarks I have accumulated over the past few years to relevant papers and ideas which have led to much of what was written here – The intention is to write a synopsis for all of them to begin creating a bit of a wiki type back-end with internal links with summary information. I recommend your reading begin there!
